LARGE FORMAT PRINTING ON ANY TYPE OF RIGID MATERIALS
Large format digital printing has received a special focus from us due to technological advances in recent years. This is why we present the advantages and possibilities of each equipment in detail.
The Durst P5 350 hybrid UV printer and the Fuji Acuity HS Advance true flatbed printer, used for printing directly onto rigid materials, print high-resolution images with industrial productivity and performance. The versatility of the printers enables large format printing applications such as posm display, indoor/outdoor signage, window graphics, floor graphics, wall decorations, etc. A major advantage of true flatbed technology is that it achieves better registration than hybrid printers, which is very important for large multi-plate prints. This means that the image components will be perfectly matched without the gaps that can occur with hybrid printers, where registration is more difficult because the plate and print head move simultaneously. Another advantage of this printing technology on rigid materials is its resistance to both light scratching and fading or fading after exposure to UV sunlight. Basically, through the UV cured ink printing process, it can be printed on any rigid or flexible material up to 5.08 cm thick such as PVC, Plexiglass, Foam, Forex, Polycarbonate, Polystyrene, Acrylic, Corrugated Cardboard, Aluminium, Wood, Stone and many other materials. The printer also allows the application of white ink both under print and after CMYK colour printing. Thus, on dark rigid materials you can print with white for an excellent visual effect.
The Roland PRO 4 ecoSolvent printer, is an ecoSolvent ink and contour cutting device from Roland DG's top of the range production equipment. Its special features are quality and speed as well as the possibility to produce metallic shades, printing on transparent materials and an important improvement of the colour tone, being the first tool using Light Black ink for outdoor use. For colour processing the printer uses native RIP software called Roland VersaWorks. The products that are recommended to be printed with ECO SOLVENT MAX 2 ink are very diverse: from indoor/outdoor signage, contour cut stickers, wobblers, shelf talkers, stickers to the most special metallic reflective car stickers. The eco-solvent ink print will thus be UV resistant, the prints are protected against fading for up to 5 years in case of lamination with high UV protection film. The main advantages are the possibility of printing with metallic and UV-resistant ink, practically the ideal solution for customising car fleets and indoor/outdoor advertisements with reflective metallic effect.
The HP 375 latex ink printer, installed in 2019, allows you to get the best value for money, thanks to the high capacity 3 litre per colour toner. Lower costs of up to 30% for latex ink printing, attracting final price decreases for printed materials of up to 25%. Latex ink printing is flexible and resistant to light scratches. HP latex ink is GREENGUARD GOLD certified, an eco-certification that makes it compatible for any indoor space, as it also performs very well for outdoor exposure. Thanks to the ability to print directly onto synthetic or natural textiles (including porous textiles, thanks to the integrated ink overflow collector), the Caldera RIP software and the PANTONE and FOGRA certifications, this latex printer is also the optimal solution for textile light boxes, textiles in general, wallpaper and other wall decoration elements. A wide range of indoor promotional products such as banners, posters, posters and display systems such as popup spider, info desk, rollup, people stopper, banners, posters, wallpaper, stands or signage can be produced with high economic efficiency. The HP 375 latex printer is ideal for high volume, with a print speed of up to 91 sqm/hour. It allows automatic front-to-back alignment for double-sided printing, direct printing on synthetic and natural textiles and a wider colour gamut, 4 or 6 colour printing, selectable from software. Thanks to the large capacity 3 litre drums, ink costs are reduced by 30%. Colour processing is performed by Caldera GrandRip+ and a fast, flexible and powerful production software (Raster Image Processing Software) dedicated to large format applications. The prints produced have a number of advantages such as scratch resistance comparable to hard solvent ink, complete drying when printing and the possibility of immediate lamination.
Durst P5 250 WT and Canon image PROGRAF water-based inkjet printers print in 6, 8 and 12 colours respectively, which is the highest number of colours technologically available at this time. This advantage translates into the ability to provide the best colour gamut and the highest level of print fidelity. Vibrant or pastel colours with a very wide range of shades are obtained, which allows the production of rollups, posters, posters and any other indoor signage elements, as well as paintings or artworks. Fully compatible with the ICC profile-based colour management system (FOGRA standard), integrated with Caldera RIP software and with built-in calibration solutions, the Canon printer becomes the ideal equipment for professional proofing, for the production of high value products such as fine art and for the photographic industry. With improved black reproduction and gradation in dark areas, it ensures exceptional print quality even for the photo industry. Because the ink is water-based, odourless and free of harmful chemical solvents, the prints produced are 100% compatible for indoor environments, be they offices, commercial spaces, hospitals, kindergartens or other sensitive environments. Equipping our print shop with 3 such water-based printers (one in 8 colours and two in 12 colours), allows us to achieve very good delivery times, so that we can successfully cover any request for printing promotional and trade marketing materials. It is also worth noting that the working resolution of the water-based ink printers is 2400 X 2400 dpi (true photo resolution), which is the maximum in the industry and allows the production of art reproductions.
Customization from scratch and state-of-the-art typographic equipment allow us to achieve any atypical format, which is in itself an element of personalization that can strengthen the visual identity of the product brand. We come to your support with proposals for the design of stands and displays, created by our creative staff in the graphics department, colleagues with over 20 years of experience in the printing industry. Also, customization from the design stage ensures the possibility to choose special cartoons and materials, which will bring an added uniqueness and will draw attention to the trade marketing products thus customized.
Because shelf presentation is an essential aspect in the process of selling your products, we offer integrated services of graphic concept, structural design, direct print on cardboard and professional finishing of trade marketing and signage products. The conception of a successful design starts with the centralization of all the elements related to the visual identity of the brand, with the determination of the type of customers to whom the product is addressed and also with the correct knowledge of the competition.
