Packaging and Palletizing Robot VPA-R

Segbert's VPA-R is a packaging and palletizing robot for a wide variety of areas and functions!

Depending on requirements and customer requests, Segbert plans, projects, builds and assembles individual robot applications for open and closed boxes and products of all kinds.
The VPA-R can fulfill several tasks. The products that are ultimately placed on the pallet by the robot can, for example, be grouped beforehand in cassettes and then packed into cardboard boxes. This means: the VPA-R can completely automate several work steps.
Segbert's VPA-R is fast, strong, innovative and extremely versatile!

The VPA-R can process pallets of the formats 800 x 1,200 mm (Euro pallet) as well as 1,000 x 1,200 mm.

In the attached video, the VPA-R uses a vacuum and fork gripper combination tool to pick up open cardboard boxes containing shampoo bottles from the production line, on which the cardboard boxes are first grouped and centered, and then places them precisely on the pallet with a fork gripping tool. With the integrated vacuum gripper, the robot places an interleaving sheet for each layer in order to additionally stabilize the pallet. The palletizing process and sequence can be programmed and tracked via touch screens. The full pallet leaves the robot cell via a pallet conveyor and can be removed from there.
