The SCALDIS filler is the new reference for linear filling machines. It can be equipped with either pistons or flowmeters and up to 12 filling heads. In both cases the product tank is completely integrated in the chassis of the machine.

With its modern design and rounded corners SCALDIS is a joy to behold. But what is on the inside deserves just as much attention as what is on the outside: for hidden under the hood is a great deal of technical ingenuity. SCALDIS is the result of the complete re-engineering of existing SNEYDERS technology. The process was specifically customer-inspired, taking account of requirements for a user-friendly and flexible design – in terms of daily use, maintenance and cleaning – in particular.

While the basic technology was retained, all the hydraulic and pneumatic drives were systematically replaced with electrical ones. Both the muscles, the nervous system and the brain of our machine are sourced from Siemens, explains Peter Sneyders, Product Manager at SNEYDERS. “It guarantees a quiet machine, with fast, precise yet still soft movements resulting in an unequalled flexibility and accuracy.”

Switching between different products is not a problem either: an integrated program guides the operator through the various steps involved in the process. The machine is prepared for the next batch so that the first series of bottles will be filled correctly straight away, thus reducing the risk of errors and therefore wastage.
