Koehler NexPlus® is the next generation of paper for flexible packaging and offers a sustainable alternative for the packaging industry. With their functional surfaces, Koehler NexPlus® paper offers product protection and can be recycled in the existing paper recycling process. The barriers can have varies from aroma to water vapor and underline the Koehler vision to bring better and more sustainable packaging solutions for all industries to market.

NexFlex® - Flexible packaging papers for the future.
The concept of sustainability is now a weighty criterion in purchasing decisions and relates not only to the actual product, but increasingly also to the outer packaging. With its NexFlex® product family, Koehler Paper meets the rapidly growing demand for sustainable packaging solutions, not only from the food industry. These include papers with barrier coatings with various functionalities. These are in particular barriers for aromas, fat, mineral oil, water vapor and also for gases. The paper offers what is important for packaging: protection of the contents, protection of the environment and excellent processing properties. In addition, packaging based on Koehler papers can be fed 100% into the recycling loop, which works for paper in many countries worldwide and is accepted by consumers.

More about Koehler Group
The Koehler Group was founded in 1807 and has been family-run to this day. The Group’s core area of business is the development and production of high-quality, specialty paper, including thermal paper, playing card board, drink coasters, fine paper, carbonless paper, recycled paper, decor paper, wood pulp board, sublimation paper, and, since 2019, innovative specialty paper for the packaging industry, too.
