Year after year, millions of chain bags from PEKU Folien help to pack small fill goods quickly, trouble-free and efficiently. On request, we can produce jumbo rolls with a larger diameter than usual to minimise roll changes and the associated changeover costs.
Like all our film packaging, the chain bags are made from polyethylene and are therefore 100% recyclable.

Filling: Due to the one-sided pre-opening, the chain bags can be opened and filled very easily by a blow of air while they are still hanging on the roll. The filled chain bag is then separated from the roll along the tear-off perforation and welded shut. Cardboard discs attached to the side ensure that the chain bags are unrolled precisely and evenly from the roll. On request, holes or perforations can be punched in the chain bags so that the air can escape during filling and the consumer can easily open the bags.

Applications: Pre-opened chain bags are always used where many small parts need to be packed quickly, e.g. in the automotive and toy industry, in the sanitary sector, in the metal, electrical and electronics industry as well as in chemical, pharmaceutical and medical technology.

Order quantity & printing: Like all our packaging solutions, we also offer our chain bags or roll bags in almost any quantity. From small series to large orders, everything is possible. Furthermore, you have the possibility to have your roll bags printed as desired. Thermal transfer printing on your packaging machine during the packaging process is of course possible.

PEKU Folien GmbH is a middle-sized family business that focuses on the sustainable production of films and bags. The company is a partner for the food, hygiene, garden, industrial, medical, pharmaceutical, optoelectronic and many other sectors.
The product portfolio consists of mono- and co-extruded films made of polyethylene, which are 100% recyclable.

With PEKU Blueline, a very resource-saving product line has been created. The regranulate content of the respective recycling film and recycling bag can be agreed individually.
PEKULight - reduced thickness films and bags for reduced material use
PEKUBlue - films and bags made from in-house recyclate (internal product waste is processed into regranulate in the in-house recycling plant and returned to the production waste stream), these are also suitable for foodstuffs
PEKUPCR - Quality films and bags made of PCR (Post-Consumer-Resin) and PIR (Post-Industrial-Resin) material

With our PEKU Greenline, particularly environmentally friendly films and bags have been developed.
PEKUGreen - our bio films and bags made from renewable raw materials. You can get all our film products on this basis.
PEKUCompost - home compostable films and bags. The bio-based content can be selected individually. All our film packaging is also possible on this basis.

PEKU Whiteline stands for quality packaging from the cleanroom for the cleanroom.
PEKUWhite - Our low-particle cleanroom films and cleanroom bags for pharmaceuticals, medicine, laboratories, optoelectronics and other industry segments fulfil the ISO 14644, ISO 7, ISO 5 standards. Even the raw materials for these films conform to the highest quality standards and comply with pharmacopoeia and FDA conformity.

PEKU prints all films with up to 10 colours in high-quality flexographic printing (full HD quality), depending on customer requirements.

The range of films includes tubular, semi-tubular and flat films as well as automatic films. In the converted area, PEKU has concentrated on drawstring bags, pressure seal bags, chain bags, Euro hole bags, wicket bags and special bags. In addition, we also offer simple bottom gusset bags, side seam bags and bottom seam bags.
