Business Templates are divided into four categories, depending on the type of packaging you produce. Each template is specialized in the processes needed to produce the packaging. We distinguish them into Folding Carton for manufacturers of folding cartons, displays and cardboard boxes; Flexible Packaging for converters of films and manufacturers of flexible packaging; Label Printing for manufacturers of (roll) labels, and Industrial Printing for industrial technical printing and production. Each of these business templates contains specific features and functions for the respective industry and helps to optimize and streamline (internal) processes. All templates feature a simultaneous comparison calculation, which allows o compare different production methods (e.g. sheet-fed offset and digital printing) to determine the most cost-effective method for each run.
The Business Template FC for folding cartons and cardboard contains specific processes for manufacturers of folding cartons, cardboard boxes, displays and corrugated products. Among the advantages offered by the template is the fully integrated sku management, which links all processes from costing, sales and production to logistics and simplifies the work. In addition, many important industry partners can be integrated into the software via interfaces to drive further digitization of production and processes and provide customers with advantages in the market that can result from greater efficiency in production. Also the exact tracking of semi-finished products increases the throughput, as well as the efficiency in production enormously and offers further advantages for manufacturers. Furthermore, the business template also offers a transparent calculation for multi-part displays, which comprehensibly lists all costs of all parts for both the user and the (end) customer, thus increasing customer satisfaction.
For manufacturers of flexible packaging, film producers and/or roll producers and converters, the FP business template offers partly similar partly different functions than the FC template. FP offers the mapping and integration of all production-specific processes: Prepress – Extrusion – Printing – Lamination – Converting – Logistics, as well as a fully integrated sku management, which provides a simple and efficient overview of one’s own range and facilitates and streamlines work in production, sales and logistics and estimating. Thanks to complete traceability and quality assurance, as well as perfect roll handling, a new level of quality and customer service can be achieved with the FP Business Template. The integration of important industry partners via interfaces is also possible without any problems and thus offers better efficiency and a higher degree of digitalization in production.
With our Business Template LP, we offer manufacturers of roll labels and flexible packaging the perfect base for a quick project start. Among other things, the Business Template LP contains a detailed tool and single roll management, as well as special web-to-print connections for roll labels and flexible packaging. Furthermore, this template also offers the option of integrating industry partners via interfaces in order to further digitalize processes in the company and make them more efficient.
The fourth business template Industrial Printing groups together producers from different industries, such as large format and commercial printers, security printing and forms, special applications such as wallpaper, metal decorating or similar, as well as many other producers of printing and packaging materials of all kinds. Integrated features include quality assurance, traceability, and EDI and VDA processes that simplify efficient, high-quality work and increase customer satisfaction. Furthermore, manufacturers work with an article-based workflow and have the possibility to easily and quickly read and/or save bills of material/manufacturing steps for complex, multi-part products.
