Gap Gauge

The Gap Gauge GAP CONTROL is a technical innovation which makes everyday tasks during machine assembly easier. The GAP CONTROL has been developed in order to precisely determine typical gaps starting at 1.8 mm between pairs of hard rollers or cylinders. At the same time, the device is able to determine the width between slots or slits in mechanical components.

Considerable importance was placed on the easy handling of device: When the measurement sensor (measurement wedge) is inserted into a gap, the gap width can be easily read on the device display.

Due to its high precision and fast measurement, the GAP CONTROL replaces the need for using feeler gauges or gauge blocks. There is simply no easier way to measure gap distances.

2D Measuring System

The 2D Measuring System MICRO CONTROL determines dimensions and shapes of objects of various sizes by simple means and extremely low cost with a resolution in the micrometre range. Length and width, diameter, angle, straightness and parallelism, for example, can be determined from the preferably flat measuring objects, if necessary also in very large dimensions of several meters. Materials from the printing industry such as paper, cardboard or paperboard as well as plastics, metals and other components can be measured. The extremely easy-to-use measuring system determines the positions of contour points of a test object that is placed on a coordinate system. By evaluating the precisely determined contour points, the desired measured dimensions, such as length, angle or linearity deviations, can then be calculated.

The scope of delivery includes a calibrated coordinate system in the size required for the measurement task and a commercially available smartphone with a suitable measurement stand. In addition, a variety of measuring tools for contacting the measured object, also provided with their own coordinate system, special PC software and an app for the smartphone are supplied. After selecting the specific measurement task on the smartphone, the individual measurements are carried out via menu navigation. In each case, a combined camera image is generated from the coordinate system of the measuring tool and simultaneously from the underlying reference system, which is used to determine the exact position of the measuring tool or the contour of the test object being measured. After performing all required measurements, the result is displayed and saved. The data can be exported to a PC for protocol generation.

Overall, the system represents an extremely cost-effective option for very accurate two-dimensional measurements of objects, including in some cases very flat objects.

Contact Zone Measuring System

The Contact Zone Measuring System NIP CON SMART is used for the exact determination of the contact zone (NIP width) between hard and elastic rollers. It is therefore ideal for checking and correcting the setting of dampening and inking unit rollers in printing presses. The device can also be used for other roller pairs in manufacturing equipment according to its respective specification.

The measurement is carried out simultaneously with two sensors in real time so that the results can be observed instantly when correcting the roller setting. The extremely lightweight sensors allow a one-person operation during sensor insertion and measurement. The system takes the critical roller parameters into account when calculating the real contact zone width and thus achieves an exact match with visually inspected strip widths under all conditions.

The printing press roller diagram is created only once on the PC and is used on the tablet for convenient operation and visualisation. Measuring points are selected on the touchscreen and measured results are differentiated by colour. All results can be easily compiled in protocols or evaluated on the PC for further analysis. The possible integration of the system into a user’s existing network is an important requirement. The considerable time-saving benefits achieved in comparison to visual strip control and correction is a further economic effect.

Separating Force Gauge

Das Trennkraft-Messgerät PEEL CONTROL dient zur Messung von Öffnungskräften peelbarer, durch eine Siegelnaht verschlossener Verpackungen oder von Trennkräften miteinander verklebter, verschweißter oder laminierter Materialien.

Die ermittelten Kraftwerte erlauben den Vergleich mit festgelegten Sollwerten und dienen damit der produktionsbegleitenden Qualitätssicherung. Das Gerät ist als Handgerät ideal geeignet für den Einsatz direkt an der Verpackungsmaschine.

Nach dem Fixieren des Prüfobjekts mit der Klemmeinrichtung wird von Hand der Öffnungs- bzw. Trennvorgang ausgeführt. Es werden alle wesentlichen Zugkraftparameter ermittelt und der Kraftverlauf in Abhängigkeit von der Messzeit und dem Öffnungsweg grafisch dargestellt.

Zur Bestimmung der Haftfestigkeit wird mit dem Messgerät die notwendige Kraft für das Ablösen einer Beschichtung ermittelt, wodurch der subjektive Einfluss eines undefinierten Klebebandes ausgeschlossen wird.

UV Curing Tester

Das UV-Härtungs-Prüfgerät UV CURE CHECK ermittelt in kürzester Zeit den Gleitreibungskoeffizienten und damit indirekt den Aushärtungsgrad von UV- und Hybridfarben oder UV-Lacken, die auf dem Druckbogen aufgebracht wurden.
Sein Einsatzort ist der Messtisch, der Stapel oder das Farbsteuerpult, wo es nicht nur in Volltonflächen, sondern im normalen Druckbild per Knopfdruck aussagekräftige Werte ermittelt.

Durch Messungen mit dem UV CURE CHECK kann man gesundheitsschädlichen Migrationen aus dem Druckbogen entgegen wirken und prüfen, ob Farben bei Weiterverarbeitung und Transport verblocken oder verschmieren könnten.

So lässt sich mit seiner Hilfe die Strahlerleistung optimieren. Das spart Energie und trägt nachhaltig zum Umweltschutz bei.
